The glasses from the La Rochère Lyonnaise collection are a new edition of the handmade originals from 1890 during the Florentine Renaissance. In late 19th-century Europe, the Renaissance was again very important - especially when Italian art and design turned to everyday objects to create sometimes grand, opulent and distinctive glasses for wine and other drinks. The beautiful, often nested and intertwined pattern and the dominant glass shapes have lost none of the glorious flair of the Renaissance today and set strong, tasteful accents in everyday life, even in very modern apartments. This La Rochère mug is of course also adorned with this symmetrical design.
