The role: Product Marketing Manager, YouTube SMB Lead

As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google products. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. The role enables you to shape the product development process, organize product launches from beginning to end and form future marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive global marketing strategy for YouTube SMB that supports our key marketing initiatives.
  • Drive corresponding objectives, priorities, schedules, budget, and key results with cross-functional stakeholders internally (eg, PMMs, PMs and Sales) and externally (eg, agency partners).
  • Build marketing campaigns that drive adoption of YouTube/AdWords for Video with SMBs
  • Coordinate YT efforts across other outbound channels (ie, co-marketing, online ads, agency outreach, brand campaigns etc).
  • Work as part of the wider SMB product team to promote cross product adoption (search, mobile, display, social and video)

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA or BS Degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience).
  • 5 years relevant experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA.
  • 5 years experience in developing and running multi-touch digital marketing campaigns (in the SMB space).
  • Strong analytical skills and proven track record of managing ROI campaigns and measurements. Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
  • Must be able to demonstrate measurable impact of campaign strategy.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and lead multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
